The City of Lakewood's Heritage, Culture and the Arts (HCA) division operates several cultural facilities: Lakewood Cultural Center, Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park, Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater and Washington Heights Arts Center. HCA is known locally, and throughout the region, for exceptional experiences that are approachable, affordable, impactful and innovative. HCA’s mission is to engage and build community through inclusive, diverse, and sustainable experiences, programs and places that inspire opportunities for discovery and foster connection. Program components include professional and community performing arts programs, educational and cultural programming, community events and festivals, visual arts, public art, historic preservation, and interpretation.
