I am a member of the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) as I am passionate about the arts and appreciate the importance of the organization’s mission, purpose, and value it provides to the communities across Colorado. I believe that through the arts not only do we achieve creative expression, storytelling, cultural participation, and enjoyment, but there are also therapeutic aspects an individual gains through engaging or participating in the artistic process. Additionally, the arts effect innovation and promote diversity, inclusion and cultural awareness which is also why I feel it is incredibly important for businesses to get involved and support the arts through CBCA programs and initiatives for socio-economic reasons and the betterment our communities.
