The Arts, Events and Venues department oversees all public events and public art installations in the Town of Silverthorne as well as the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace, the Silverthorne Pavilion where many community events are held and the activation of the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center and partnership with Theatre SilCo. Silverthorne was also just named a Colorado Creative District, which our department also oversees. We aim to build a sense of community in Silverthorne by creating inviting spaces and events that encourage social interaction and connection. We give businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, entertainers, and cultural organizations an opportunity to find their audiences and support the downtown’s transformation into a vibrant, walkable, welcoming, active place. Our art initiatives and venues create depth in our community, facilitate connection and signal a healthy and vibrant town.
